A complete guide to verifying academic credentials using the MEHIT & MIEX Transcript Verification Portal.
The MEHIT & MIEX Transcript Verification Portal allows you to instantly confirm whether an academic document is genuine using one of three methods:
Alphanumeric code printed on the document
Official registration number of the student
Scan or paste the QR token from the document
Look for the verification code, QR code, or registration number on the document. These are typically near the bottom, on the stamp, or in the header area.
This portal only verifies documents issued by MEHIT University and VTC MIEX. Documents from other institutions cannot be verified here.
Select the method that matches what you have available on the document.
You do not need to create an account. Verification is free and open to everyone.
Go to verify.php and make sure the Verification Code tab is selected (it is selected by default).
Find the alphanumeric code β typically formatted like TR-2024-00125. It may appear near the registrar's stamp, at the bottom of the page, or beside the QR code.
Type the code as it appears, including hyphens. The search is not case-sensitive but spacing and hyphens matter.
The result will appear immediately below with full credential details.
Click the Student Matricule tab on the verification page.
The registration number is printed on all official documents and is typically formatted like MEHIT-TR-2020-00125.
Enter the full registration number and click Verify Student Record. The most recent credential for that student will be returned.
If a student has multiple credentials, the system returns the most recently issued one. For a specific credential, use the Verification Code method instead.
Use your phone camera or a QR scanner app to scan the QR code printed on the document. It will open a verification URL in your browser β that page shows the result automatically.
Select the QR Code tab, then paste the full URL (e.g. https://verify.mehit-univ.com/verify.php?token=abc123) or just the token part into the field.
Click Verify QR Document. The token is extracted automatically from any full URL you paste.
The document is authentic. The credential details match the official institutional records. Safe to accept.
The document exists but is not yet validated. Do not accept without contacting the institution for confirmation.
The document has been officially revoked and is no longer valid. Do not accept this document.
On the result page, click the Print Result button in the bottom-right of the result card.
Your browser's print dialog will open. The page renders in a clean printable format β navigation, footer, and buttons are hidden automatically.
In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF to get a digital copy of the verification result.
After verifying a document, here is what we recommend based on the result:
