We do not collect cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes.

• To process your document verification request
• To maintain a secure audit trail of all verification activity
• To detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent verification attempts
• To enforce rate limiting and brute-force protection
• To assist institutions in investigating suspected document fraud

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process data under legitimate interest — specifically to operate a secure, trusted academic verification service and to protect the integrity of credentials issued by MEHIT University and VTC MIEX.

5. Data Retention

Verification logs are retained for a minimum of 5 years for audit and legal compliance purposes. IP addresses used in rate-limiting are cleared automatically after the rate-limit window expires.

• Authorised administrators of MEHIT University and VTC MIEX

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Data Security

All data is stored in a secured MySQL database. Admin access is protected by strong password hashing, session management, CSRF protection, and brute-force lockout. File uploads are restricted to images and blocked from PHP execution.
