Getting Started

What is the MEHIT & MIEX Verification Portal?

It is the official platform for verifying academic documents β€” transcripts, degrees, certificates, and attestations β€” issued by MEHIT University and VTC MIEX. It allows employers, embassies, and institutions to instantly confirm the authenticity of any document.

Who can use this portal?

Anyone with a legitimate need to verify a document. This includes employers, embassy officers, academic institutions, and students checking their own records. No account or registration is required.

Is verification free?

Yes. Public verification is completely free of charge for all users.

How long does verification take?

Results are instant β€” typically under 2 seconds once you submit a valid code, matricule, or QR token.

Verification Methods

How do I verify using a Verification Code?

  1. Go to verify.php and select the Verification Code tab
  2. Find the alphanumeric code on the document β€” usually printed at the bottom-right or near the official stamp
  3. Enter the code exactly as it appears (e.g. TR-2024-00125)
  4. Click Verify Document

How do I verify using a Student Matricule?

  1. Select the Student Matricule tab
  2. Enter the student's official registration number (e.g. MEHIT-TR-2020-00125)
  3. Click Verify Student Record
  4. The most recent credential linked to that matricule will be returned

How do I verify using a QR Code?

  1. Select the QR Code tab
  2. Scan the QR code on the document with your phone camera β€” it will open a URL
  3. Or paste the full verification URL or just the token part into the field
  4. Click Verify QR Document

Where is the verification code printed on documents?

On most documents it appears in the bottom-right corner, near the registrar's signature or official stamp. On some documents it may appear as a QR code with a short alphanumeric code printed below it.

Understanding Results

What does "Verified" mean?

The document is authentic and officially issued by MEHIT University or VTC MIEX. The credential details match the institution's records exactly.

What does "Pending" mean?

The document exists in the system but has not yet been fully validated by the academic registry. This may mean the document was recently issued and is still being processed. Contact the institution for confirmation.

What does "Revoked / Invalid" mean?

The document has been officially revoked. This may occur due to academic misconduct, administrative error, or other institutional decision. The document should not be accepted. Contact the institution for details.

What does "Not Found" mean?

No record matching your search was found. This could mean the code was entered incorrectly, the document was not issued by MEHIT University or VTC MIEX, or the document may be fraudulent. Try again carefully, and if the issue persists contact us.

Can I print the verification result?

Yes. On the result page, click the Print Result button. The page will open your browser's print dialog with a clean printable layout showing all credential details.

Troubleshooting

I entered the correct code but got "Not Found"

Double-check the following:

  • Ensure you are typing the code exactly β€” including hyphens and capitalisation (e.g. TR-2024-00125 not tr2024-00125)
  • Check that the document was issued by MEHIT University or VTC MIEX β€” not another institution
  • If the document is very recent (issued within the last few days), it may still be pending entry. Contact us

I am being blocked from searching

The portal limits repeated failed searches per IP address to prevent abuse. If you are blocked, wait 60 minutes and try again. If the issue persists, contact us with your IP address.

The QR code does not scan

Try scanning in better lighting, or use the verification URL printed below the QR code. You can also manually type or paste the token from the URL into the QR Code tab.

I believe a document is fraudulent

If you suspect a document is fake or has been tampered with, contact us immediately at academicservice@mehit-univ.com with details. Do not accept the document until verified by the institution.
