Terms of Use

1. Purpose of the Portal

This Portal is provided exclusively for the verification of academic documents — including transcripts, degrees, certificates, and attestations — issued by MEHIT University and VTC MIEX. It is intended for use by employers, embassies, academic institutions, and any third party with a legitimate need to verify the authenticity of such documents.

2. Permitted Use

You may use this Portal only to:

• Verify the authenticity of a specific academic document using a valid verification code, matricule number, or QR token
• Confirm the status of a credential issued by MEHIT University or VTC MIEX
• Print or save a verification result for legitimate administrative or employment purposes

3. Prohibited Use

You must not use this Portal to:

• Attempt to access, scrape, or harvest data beyond your individual verification need
• Submit automated or bulk verification requests
• Attempt to circumvent rate limiting, security, or access controls
• Use verification results to discriminate unlawfully against any individual
• Impersonate an institution, employer, or official authority
• Submit false verifier information

4. Accuracy of Results

Verification results are drawn directly from the official records database of MEHIT University and VTC MIEX. While we strive for accuracy, results are provided “as is” at the time of query. For official disputes or discrepancies, contact the institution directly at academicservice@mehit-univ.com.

5. Verification Logging

All verification attempts are logged including your IP address, search value, and result. By using this Portal, you consent to this logging. Logs may be reviewed by authorised administrators and disclosed to legal authorities if required.

6. Rate Limiting

To protect the integrity of the system, verification attempts are rate-limited. Repeated failed searches from the same IP address will be temporarily blocked. Abuse of the Portal may result in permanent IP blocking and legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos, and data on this Portal are the property of MEHIT University and VTC MIEX. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

The Portal is provided in good faith. MEHIT University and VTC MIEX shall not be liable for any decisions made by third parties based on verification results, or for any loss arising from system downtime, inaccurate data, or misuse of results.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

10. Changes to These Terms

MEHIT University and VTC MIEX reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page. Continued use of the Portal constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
